About me

As an individual coming from a modest background, following a passion like dance is never easy. But with fire in my belly to succeed I followed my dream. Before I realized my hardwork had taken me all over INDIA and to different parts of the world with professionals alike which made me more confident, and fired up a passion of being one of the best in the field of dance.

My crowning glory came when I was declared the WINNER of THE BOOGIE WOOGIE MAHAYUDH SOLO CHAMPIONSHIP 2007 but the burning passion of dance in me, made me persevere even harder and I went on to become the Finalist of India’s biggest dance reality show: DANCE INDIA DANCE Season 1 in 2009, followed by The MENTOR OF DID LIL MASTERS in 2010 and The CHOREOGRAPHER OF JHALAK DIKHLA JAA Season 4. Which I consider as milestones as a result of my efforts in the field of dance.
My motto being that knowledge grows only if spread to others I started the JAI KUMAR DANCE INSTITUTE which caters to all people interested in the art of dance irrelevant of the fact that they are naturally talented or not.
Being a dancer, I believe in the joy that dance is capable of spreading, as it gives people physical & intellectual motivation from which comes a sense of achievement of one’s being and a satisfaction of spirit.
And last but not the least I would like to thank God, my parents & family, my friends and all my dedicated and wonderful fans who have helped me become whatever I am today.
